Reckless Recruits: Senior PPC Executive

The time has come for a Senior PPC Executive to join the Digital Marketing team here at Reckless. We have an exciting client portfolio that we’re very proud of and this role will involve collaborating with all departments, to create the most effective strategies for our clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Shape our Paid Media/PPC department’s services and ensure we deliver what clients need from us
  • Build high quality paid search, display and social marketing campaigns from scratch, including engaging ad copy & creative, relevant audience targeting and keyword analysis
  • Maximise the performance of your campaigns in line with key performance indicators for our clients
  • Using data and interrogating the numbers to understand what’s working and what’s not
  • Help train the junior members in the team and share new developments in PPC with the wider business
  • Establish a strong relationship with the client services team, keeping them up to date with the performance of your campaigns, any issues you’ve encountered and any opportunities you’ve found.
  • Work with the creative and development departments, incorporating their ideas to bring your campaigns to life 
  • Immerse yourself in the marketing and digital industry, keep up to date with relevant trends and keep on the lookout for new techniques
  • Commenting on reports to provide insights and recommendations for change

Other requirements include; making your fair share of team brews, embracing table tennis (don’t worry we’ll teach you!) and being an all-around good person.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Your campaigns are optimised, consistently hitting or exceeding our clients’ targets
  • You’re testing and exploring new formats to find exciting ways to improve campaign performance
  • Good results and untapped opportunities are recognised and communicated to the wider team
  • Bad results and ropey campaign performance is communicated and we solve problems together – relationships with team members are built on trust
  • Personal development is made a priority, on an individual basis and as a member of the team, through working smarter rather than harder and learning new skills


Our Ideal ‘Reckless-er’:

  • 18+ months’ experience running PPC campaigns through Google/Bing/Facebook Ads 
  • Understanding of KPIs and the importance of working to meet objectives
  • Is comfortable with being held accountable for their work
  • Ability to use Google Analytics & Google Data Studio
  • Ability to strategise and plan campaigns
  • A passion for all things marketing
  • A detail-oriented individual with a combination of creative and analytical skills
