Recently, we’ve been working with Aubaine, a collection of French restaurants in London, to improve their digital presence.
We found that Aubaine currently has as many users finding them through Google My Business as they do across all other channels combined. Much of their traffic comes from Google Map listings that appear in local search results, (aka the local pack). This relies on optimisation of Google My Business listings and citations from reputable sources.
Aubaine receives nearly ten times the number of impressions on Google My Business compared to traditional search engine results. A lot of this comes from discovery-led searches such as “French restaurant London”, rather than brand searches. This means that an entire potential customer base engages with Aubaine for the first time on Google’s territory, rather than on their own website.
This has been massive for Aubaine! Not only with Google My Business, but there is still bags of opportunity that we are helping them to take advantage of.
