Summer of SEO: Which music artists are dominating Google search while touring the UK?

Chances are you know that some of the world’s biggest music artists have been touring the UK this summer. From Taylor Swift and Foo Fighters to Pink and Girls Aloud, 2024 is shaping up to be a big year for music fans.

As these artists give their all on stage, how are they performing on Google? And what are fans across the UK searching for? Let’s dive into some SEMRush data to find out.

Music artists by search performance

Averaging at 1-million monthly searches, Taylor Swift is by far the most Googled artist in the UK. Pink follows with 135,000 searches per month (though of course some of these searches will be for the colour pink), while Foo Fighters and Girls Aloud trail with 74,000 and 60,500 searches respectively.
